Tammy Wrice is currently living her dream of being a Gallery owner and a promoter of Newfoundland artists. She opened up the Gallery in July 2015 and partnered with Michelle Rowe to open up her art school in the same location. The gallery boasts over 300 original works of art featuring over 50 local artists. The gallery offers not only a school and gallery but showcases artists with solo exhibits as well. The gallery and school have been a welcomed new addition to the Carbonear down town area.
Tammy has been painting for over 25 years in acrylic medium and am considered a contemporary impressionistic artist. Her paintings are held in Private Collections including Newfoundland, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, United States, UK, and Dubai.
Tammy is presently writing a book called “A Boatload of Talent”, a provincial artist and artisan directory of Newfoundland and Labrador slated to be released in 2018.
Tammy also helps set up art exhibits around the Avalon Peninsula with a group called TAAG who represents over 50 local artists. These open art shows help a large group of amateur artists show and sell their works to the local communities.
Tammy's work is her passion and her love of promotion of art has been supported by her 25 plus years in marketing and sales experience. Tammy's Sales background lends itself to her current position and aids her in the sales and marketing of Newfoundland and Labrador art on an international stage.
